Hoe beheer ik secties en tags?

Voordat je begint

• Owners, admins and editors manage sections and tags.

Stappenplan

1. Open Verhalen then Secties en tags. There are three tabs: Secties, Tags and Populaire onderwerpen.
2. Sectie toevoegen: tap Sectie toevoegen. Type the Naam, optional Beschrijving, Titel voor zoekmachines, and choose Onderdeel van (Hoogste niveau or another section). Tick Tonen in het sitemenu if wanted.
3. Reorder: use Omhoog verplaatsen and Omlaag verplaatsen, or make a sub-section. Then tap Volgorde opslaan.
4. Tags: tap Nieuwe tag. A Onderwerp gets its own page and can trend. A Trefwoord only helps search and stays off the tag list and sitemap. Locked tag stops writers creating a similar tag.
5. Tags samenvoegen: open a tag then Samenvoegen met een andere tag. All stories move to the tag you choose. Old links redirect and the old name is kept as another name.
6. Trending: the site finds trending topics itself. Pin a topic to keep it at the top, or hide one.

Goed om te weten

• Changing an address (slug) is safe: the old address forwards to the new one.
• You can not delete a section that still has stories, sub-sections, menus or homepage parts using it. Move those first.
• Other names for a section each get their own address that sends readers to it.

Veelvoorkomende problemen

• "Deze sectie wordt nog gebruikt door artikelen, subsecties, menu's of de homepage. Verplaats deze eerst en verwijder de sectie daarna." Something still uses the section. Move those items, then delete.
