How do I connect Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools?

Where: Growth → Search & SEO → Get found on Google

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/seo/search (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

• You need permission to manage SEO.
• You need your own Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools account.

Steps

1. Open Growth → Search & SEO → Get found on Google.
2. Add your site in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools with your own account.
3. Create an access key there.
4. In Keynate, enter Site address in that account and paste the Access key. You may be asked to confirm your password.
5. Turn on Use this connection and press Save.
6. Press Import the last 28 days.
7. Press Show report. See Clicks, Impressions, Click rate, Average position, Top searches and Top pages.

Good to know

• The status is Not connected, Connected, Waiting for your account or Problem.
• The key is stored safely and never shown again. The card shows only its last characters.
• The numbers are the search engine's own reports, shown for information only.
• A connection that says Waiting for your account needs your account first.

Common problems

• "No data yet. Connect an account and import to see numbers."
