Steps
Ban or mute
- In Comments, open a comment and tap Ban or mute this reader.
- Under What should happen, choose Mute or Ban.
- Under For how long, choose Until I lift it or a number of days.
- Add a Reason if you like. Only you and your team see it.
- Tap Ban reader or Mute reader.
See and lift
- Open Readers & money, Comments, then the Banned readers tab.
- Each row shows who, which, until when and why.
- Tap Lift and confirm. "Restriction lifted."
Good to know
- Mute: their comments are not shown until you approve them.
- Ban: they cannot comment at all.
- Ended restrictions show Ended.

Does the reader know?
The reader cannot comment, or their comments are held. The reason is not shown to them.
What is the difference between ban and mute?
Ban stops all comments. Mute holds their comments until you approve them.
