How do I pin, boost or hide a story in search?

Where: Growth → Search & SEO → What readers search → Pins & rules

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/search/rules (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Steps

1. Make a rule from Try a search.
2. Open Growth → Search & SEO → What readers search → Pins & rules to see the list.
3. Each rule shows the word ("When readers search …") or "For every search", and the action: pin at a position, hide, show higher or lower.
4. To delete a rule, tap Remove rule and confirm. Search goes back to the normal order for that story.

Good to know

• A rule can show from and until dates and not active now.
• If a story is no longer published, the rule does nothing.
• Removing a rule does not delete the story.
