How do I check that every story can be found in search?

Where: Growth → Search & SEO → What readers search → Search health

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/search/health (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

You need permission to manage search.

Steps

1. Open Growth → Search & SEO → What readers search → Search health.
2. Read Stories you can search, Waiting to be added and Could not be added. Check Last update.
3. If something looks wrong, tap Rebuild search and confirm.
4. You can leave the page. If it stopped, tap Continue where it stopped or Start again.

Good to know

• Search keeps working all the time while it rebuilds. It can take a few minutes on a big site.
• Members-only stories are searchable by headline and summary only.
• If a rebuild is already running you see "A rebuild is already running."
