How do I make a short clip from a video?

Where: Media → Clips

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/media/clips (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Steps

1. Open Media → Clips.
2. Tap New clip.
3. Tap Choose source video.
4. Under Which part, slide, type seconds, or nudge by one second to set Starts at and Ends at.
5. Enter the Title. Add a Caption (optional).
6. Set State: Draft or Published.
7. Tap Save. You see "Clip saved."

Good to know

• The end must be later than the start.
• Making a separate clip file needs the hosted video add-on: Make clip file, then Check progress.
• Deleting a clip keeps the original video.

Common problems

• "The end must be later than the start." Move the end later.
