How do I add seasons and episodes to a show?

Where: Media → Video & audio shows → A show

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/media/shows (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.

Steps

Add a season

1. Open the show.
2. Under Seasons, tap Add season.
3. Enter the Season number, and optionally a Year and Season title. Tap Save.

Add an episode

1. Tap Add episode.
2. Tap Choose video or audio and pick a file.
3. Choose a Season (or No season) and the Episode number.
4. Under Publishing, choose Draft or Published.
5. Optionally set the Air date.
6. Tap Save. You see "Episode saved."

Good to know

• To schedule an episode, set it to Published and choose a future "Available from" time.
• Deleting a season keeps its episodes, but they lose the season.
• Deleting an episode keeps the file in your media library.
• Audio shows have a Podcast tab. There you set the author, language, category, owner email and cover. Choose Check my feed to find problems.
• A cover must be at least 1400 x 1400 pixels.
• The feed address only works once the show is published and has an audio episode.
• Sending the feed to Apple Podcasts or Spotify is done by you on each directory's own site, signed in with your account. Keynate cannot do it for you.

Common problems

• "Podcast feeds are for audio shows. This show is video, so directories may not accept it." Use an audio show for podcasts.
• "This show is not published, so the feed is not public yet. Publish the show first."
