How do I turn comments on or off?

Where: Readers & money → Comments → Comment settings

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/comments/settings (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Steps

1. Open Readers & money → Comments and tap the Rules tab. It shows your comment settings.
2. Find Comments on new stories.
3. Choose On: new stories accept comments or Off: comments are open only on stories where you turn them on.
4. Tap Save.

Good to know

• Only the site owner can change this setting.
• You can still open or close comments on each story.
• Stories already published keep their own setting.
