Before you start
- This is an add-on. It is included in some plans: see your plan on keynate.com (Choose a plan).
- Only the site owner can add it.
- A team member Autopilot can work as. It needs permission to create or publish stories.
Steps
- Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. The page is called Features.
- Find AI Autopilot. If it says Not in your plan, tap Buy and finish the purchase on keynate.com.
- Wait for Being installed to change. This is usually a few minutes.
- Open AI Autopilot in the admin menu.
- On Overview, tap Turn on Autopilot and read the warning.
- On Sources, add the sources or topics.
- On Sections, choose Manual or Auto per section, set the schedule, daily limit and tone.
- Review drafts in Waiting: approve and publish, or reject. Check Run log and undo a run if you need to.
Good to know
- The default is up to 10 stories a day and up to 5 sections. The limits can be changed within the allowed range.
- On a free OpenRouter account, free models have a daily limit, so it writes only a few stories a day. Add credit on your OpenRouter account to write more.
- Autopilot is paused if all AI automations are paused in the AI workspace.
- Paid features cannot be switched off in Features.
Common problems
Nothing runs. Why: A blocker is active, such as: Autopilot is paused, no section is switched on, or your AI daily or monthly limit is reached. Fix: The Overview page lists "Why nothing will run right now". Fix the first item shown.
I cannot find AI Autopilot in my admin. Why: The feature is off or not yet installed. Fix: Open Add features in Settings. The admin says: "This feature is switched off. The owner can switch it on in Features." Ask the owner to switch it on, or buy it if it says Not in your plan.
Questions

Who can change Autopilot?

What if the add-on ends?
Nothing runs or publishes. Your settings and history stay read-only, and published stories stay on your site.
