How do I limit how much AI my site can use?

Where: Settings → Content & publishing → AI rules

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/ai-rules (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

• Only the site owner can change AI rules.

Steps

1. Open Settings → Content & publishing → AI rules → Rules tab.
2. Under Budget and limits, set Monthly AI budget for the whole site (tokens). 0 means no limit.
3. Set Daily limit per person (tokens). 0 means no limit.
4. Save.

Good to know

• When the monthly budget is used up, AI helpers pause until next month.
• The daily limit stops one person from using the whole budget in a day.
