Before you start
- This is an add-on. It is included in some plans: see your plan on keynate.com (Choose a plan).
- Only the site owner can add it.
Steps
- Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. The page is called Features.
- Find Listen to stories. A paid feature shows Paid and Needs with the plan that has it. Tap Buy and finish the purchase on keynate.com (it may open in a new tab).
- Come back to Features. It shows Being set up for a few minutes, then On.
- Open Growth → Reach readers → Listen.
- Check the status: a connected voice provider, or the reader device reads aloud.
- Use the script preview to see the exact text for a story.
Good to know
- Paid features cannot be switched off in Features.
Common problems
I cannot find Listen to stories in my admin. Why: The feature is off or not yet installed. Fix: Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. If it shows Buy, it is not in your plan yet. If it shows Being set up, wait a few minutes. Paid features you don't own are listed in the menu under Add more features.

Who reads the story?
Today the reader device reads aloud. Server voices need a voice provider to be connected.
Are audio files stored?
Nothing is produced or stored until a voice provider is connected.
