How do I set what readers are asked in each country?

In this story

Where: Settings → Readers & money → Connections → Consent & privacy notice (Mode per region section)

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/connections/consent#kn-cn-regions (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

  • Only the owner can change this.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Readers & money → Connections → Consent & privacy notice.
  2. Under Mode per region, for each region (India, EU + EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, US states, Everywhere else) pick a mode:
    • DPDP notice
    • TCF via your CMP
    • US privacy (GPP)
    • Simple notice
  3. Save.

Good to know

  • Ads in Europe need a Google-certified consent tool. Choose one before showing ads there. See Consent tool.
  • The page warns when a region that needs a certified tool has none.
