How do I make a story a long read with chapters?

Where: Stories → All stories → The story editor

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.

Where to find it

On a laptop it is in the right-hand column of the story editor. On a phone or tablet, scroll down below the story. Open Long read (chapters).

Steps

1. Add headings to your story text with the toolbar (heading level 2 or 3). Each heading becomes a chapter.
2. Save the story.
3. Open Long read (chapters) and turn on Show this story as a long read.
4. Check the Chapters list. Tap Refresh after you change headings.

Good to know

• It is optional. Use it for deep stories with several parts.
• The panel shows the word count and reading time.
