In this story

Where: Stories → All stories → The story editor

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.

Steps

  1. Import: open File then Import from Word (.docx)… and choose your file. Wait for "Importing …".
  2. Export to Word: open File then Export to Word (.docx).
  3. Export PDF: open File then Export PDF. In the print dialog, choose "Save as PDF".
  4. Print: open File then Print.

Good to know

  • Word files must be .docx and up to 40 MB. Save older .doc files as .docx first.
  • After import you see "Word document imported with N image(s). Undo (Ctrl/Cmd+Z) removes it."
  • Images are skipped if you cannot upload, if photo storage is missing, or the format (such as EMF) or size is not supported. Add them from the media library.

Common problems

  • "This Word file could not be read. Try saving it again as .docx." The file is damaged or not a .docx. Save it again as .docx.
