Before you start
- This is an add-on. If the menu lists it under Add more features, see Choose a plan.
- Connect a prices service first. Tap Connect your prices service, or see Market prices data.
Steps
- Open Stories → Market prices.
- Tap Make your first price list (or New list).
- Type the List name. Check the Short name (small letters, numbers and dashes, for example markets).
- Under Add a price, pick the Type: Index, Share, Currency, Crypto or Commodity.
- In Find a symbol, type a symbol or name (for example NIFTY or Apple) and tap Search. Tap Add on the right result.
- No result? Use Type a symbol yourself and fill Symbol and, if needed, Exchange (optional).
- Put the prices in order with the up and down arrows. Add a Name on your site (optional) if you want a friendlier name.
- Tap Save price list.
- Open the Settings tab to pick the service for each type and to turn on Show names next to symbols. Tap Save price settings.
Good to know
- Each search uses one call of your prices service plan.
- Changing a list's Short name empties the boxes on your site that use the old name.
- Your plan sets how many lists and prices you can have, and how often prices update. The Settings tab shows these limits.
- Prices show as delayed or end of day when your service says so. "Real time" shows only when your service plan gives live prices.
- Real-time NSE and BSE prices need an exchange licence. Without a licensed service, Indian prices show as delayed or end of day.

Common problems
"Your prices service plan has no calls left today. Try again tomorrow or type the symbol yourself." Why: Your service's daily limit is used up. Fix: Use Type a symbol yourself, or wait until tomorrow.
"No prices service is connected for this type yet." Why: No service is picked for that type in Settings. Fix: Connect a service, then pick it for that type on the Settings tab.
"Another list already uses this short name." Why: Short names must be different. Fix: Choose another short name.
"Your plan's limit for lists or prices is reached." Why: You have as many lists or prices as your plan allows. Fix: Remove one, or see Choose a plan.

Frequently asked questions
Why are my prices delayed?
Your prices service sends delayed prices on your plan with them. Live prices need a plan from your service that gives them.
Where do the lists show on my site?
In the ticker, tiles and tables of your template. Each block shows the list by its short name.
Who pays for the prices data?
You do, directly to your prices service.
