Before you start
- This is an add-on. It is included in some plans: see your plan on keynate.com (Choose a plan).
- Only the site owner can add it.
Steps
- Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. The page is called Features.
- Find Auto-share to X. A paid feature shows Paid and Needs with the plan that has it. Tap Buy and finish the purchase on keynate.com (it may open in a new tab).
- Come back to Features. It shows Being set up for a few minutes, then On.
- Open Growth → Reach readers → Social sharing.
- Find the X card.
Good to know
- Keynate posts to X for you through Keynate's X app. You do not need an X developer account and you do not pay X.
- Connect X in Social sharing: choose X, sign in to X and allow Keynate. Posts are text and a link card, with no images.
- Each story post counts against your monthly pack. At the limit, X pauses until renewal or an upgrade. See X post packs.
- If X says it isn't available yet, Keynate is still setting up posting to X. Your other networks work meanwhile.
- After you add it, connect X like the other channels.
- Paid features cannot be switched off in Features.
Common problems
I cannot find Auto-share to X in my admin. Why: The feature is off or not yet installed. Fix: Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. If it shows Buy, it is not in your plan yet. If it shows Being set up, wait a few minutes. Paid features you don't own are listed in the menu under Add more features.

Do I need Social auto-share too?
Yes. Auto-share to X works on top of Social auto-share.
What if I only have auto-share?
X shows as an add-on with an upsell until you add it.
