How do I publish a magazine issue?

Where: Stories → Magazine

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/m/magazine (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

• This is an add-on. It is included in some plans: see your plan on keynate.com (Choose a plan).
• Only the site owner can add it.
• A cover image in your media library.

Steps

1. Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. The page is called Features.
2. Find Magazine. A paid feature shows Paid and Needs with the plan that has it. Tap Buy and finish the purchase on keynate.com (it may open in a new tab).
3. Come back to Features. It shows Being set up for a few minutes, then On.
4. Open Stories → Magazine.
5. Create a new issue. Set its title, address, number, volume, date and cover.
6. Open the table of contents editor and add sections and stories.
7. Follow the workflow to publish.

Good to know

• You can pick a theme colour. The screen gives a contrast hint.
• An access override lets one issue differ from your default.
• Paid features cannot be switched off in Features.

Common problems

I cannot find Magazine in my admin. Why: The feature is off or not yet installed. Fix: Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. If it shows Buy, it is not in your plan yet. If it shows Being set up, wait a few minutes. Paid features you don't own are listed in the menu under Add more features.
