How do I sell ads on my own site?

Where: Growth → Ads & deals → Sell ads

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/growth/ads/campaigns (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

• Turn on the Ads feature in Add features. If it is off you see "Selling ads is switched off on this site."
• You need permission to manage ad campaigns.
• Add the business first in Advertisers, or add it during the campaign.

Steps

1. Open Growth → Ads & deals → Sell ads.
2. Use Show campaigns to filter by status.
3. Tap New campaign to start. See New ad campaign.
4. Tap Open on a campaign to change it, or Results to see how it did.

Good to know

• The list shows status, dates and the numbers so far: Views, Seen, Clicks and Click rate.
• Campaign status is Draft, Running, Paused or Ended.
• A Sponsorship campaign is one brand sponsoring a story, web story, newsletter or report.
• The Sell ads menu also has Promote your own stuff, Advertisers, Ad settings and Ad income.
