What happens to location data and credits in my photos?

Where: Media → Photo settings (Privacy and rights section)

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/media#privacy-and-rights (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Steps

1. Open Media, then Photo settings. The page is titled Media settings. Find Privacy and rights.
2. Turn Keep credit and copyright details on or off.
3. Tap Save.

Good to know

• With the switch on, the copyright, creator and credit from the photo are saved so you can see them in the library.
• They are never put back into public files.
• You can add credits and licences yourself in the picture panel under Rights & licence.
