How do I change how my images are stamped, compressed and kept?

Where: Media → Photo settings

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/media (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

You need the permission to manage the site (owners and admins).

Steps

1. Open Media, then Photo settings. The page is titled Media settings. You can also tap Media settings on the library page.
2. Change what you need in these cards: Watermark, Compression, Privacy and rights, Licence expiry and File size limits.
3. Tap Save. You see "Media settings saved."
4. To apply the new settings to older pictures, tap Re-apply to outdated images.

Good to know

• Changes apply to new uploads and to images you re-apply them to. Existing pictures do not change until you re-apply.
• File size limits only shows what you can upload. It is not something you change here.

Common problems

• Save is off. Nothing has changed yet.
• Re-apply is off. Save your changes first: "Save your changes first."
