Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/connections/notifications#kn-push-apns (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

  • You need an Apple Developer account and an iPhone app. Only the owner can change keys.

  5. In Keynate, open Settings → Readers & money → Connections → Notifications (iOS app (Apple) section).
  6. Add the APNs key (.p8): choose the file or paste its text.
  7. Enter Key id, Team id and Bundle id, for example com.yoursite.news.
  8. Choose the Environment: Production (App Store) or Sandbox (test builds).
  9. Turn on Send to iPhone and iPad and save.
  10. Send a test, then rebuild your app.

  • "Add the .p8 key file, or turn this off."
  • "Key id and Team id are 10 characters."
  • "Enter your app's bundle id, e.g. com.yoursite.news."
