How do I add a credit line such as "With inputs from PTI"?

Where: Stories → All stories → The story editor

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.

Where to find it

On a laptop it is in the right-hand column of the story editor. On a phone or tablet, scroll down below the story. Open Attribution (credit line). Save the story first.

Steps

1. Type the Credit line, for example "With inputs from PTI".
2. With an agency in the byline, tap Use “With inputs from …” to fill it in for you.
3. Save. The line shows under the story.
4. For data stories, pick a Linked methodology to show "How we did this".

Good to know

• If an agency is in the byline and the line is empty, publishing is blocked until you add it.
• Write methodology pages in Settings → Content & publishing → Newsroom.
