Where to find it
On a laptop it is in the right-hand column of the story editor. On a phone or tablet, scroll down below the story. Open Comments on this story. Save the story first.
Steps
- Choose if comments are open, closed, or follow your site setting.
- Under How comments on this story are checked, choose a stricter check for a sensitive story.
- Tap Save comment settings.
- To read them, tap Review these comments.

- This changes one story only. Site-wide rules are in Readers & money → Comments → Comment settings.

No. Comments already shown stay. Readers just cannot add new ones.
