Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.
Where to find it
On a laptop it is in the right-hand column of the story editor. On a phone or tablet, scroll down below the story. Open Legal check.
Steps
- Under Legal review, write Why should legal look at it?.
- Tap Send to legal. The story cannot be published until legal clears it.
- The legal desk taps Clear for publishing when it is safe.
- Under Legal hold, turn on Story is on legal hold and give a reason, for example "Court notice received".
Good to know
- A story on legal hold keeps all its versions and history, and can never go to the trash.
- Only the owner, admins and the legal desk can change the legal hold.
