Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.
Where to find it
On a laptop it is in the right-hand column of the story editor. On a phone or tablet, scroll down below the story. Open Help Google and AI quote you right. Save the story first.
Steps
- Reviewed by: for health, money or legal stories, pick who on your team checked it. Readers see "Medically reviewed by …".
- Sources: tap Add a source and add the Title and Web address. Readers see a sources list at the end.
- What we know / what we don't know yet: for developing stories, one point per line.
- Snippets in search and AI answers: leave it alone unless you do not want text from the story quoted.
Good to know
- All of it is optional.
- Nothing here guarantees a place in Google, Google News, Discover or AI answers.
- Turning off snippets means fewer people may click, because there is no text preview.
