How do I add a shared block or a poll to a story?

Where: Stories → All stories → The story editor

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.

Steps

1. Shared block: open Insert, then Boxes, then Shared block. Pick one in Insert a shared block. To change it, tap Edit in library.
2. Poll or form: choose Poll or form. Search in Insert poll or form and pick one.

Good to know

• If you change a shared block in the library, every story using it changes too.
• A poll that is still a draft is not shown to readers. Open it before you publish the story.
• Polls and forms may need a feature your site must own: "Polls and forms are not part of your plan yet." Included in some plans: see your plan on keynate.com.
• Shared blocks are added under Stories, Shared blocks. Polls and forms are created under Growth, Polls & forms.

Common problems

• "No shared blocks yet." You have not made one. Add one under Stories, Shared blocks.
