In this story

Before you start

  • This feature is part of your site by default.
  • Your business details filled in, so the drafts can use your name and contact details.

Steps

  1. Open the Pages list in the admin menu.
  2. Open a draft, read it and change what does not fit you.
  3. Publish it, then link it from your footer in Menus.

Good to know

  • The drafts are: Ethics policy, Fact-check policy, Ownership and funding, Masthead, AI-use policy, Accessibility statement, Terms, Subscription terms, Refund and cancellation, Shipping policy, Contact, Community standards, Corrections policy, Advertising disclosure, Affiliate disclosure and Editorial style guide.
  • A Grievance officer page is added for sites in India only.
  • These are starting texts, not legal advice. Have them checked for your country.
  • If a page of the same address already exists, it is left alone.
  • You cannot switch this feature off. Built-in features do not have a switch in Features.
