Open this page: admin.<your-site>/articles (replace <your-site> with your site address). Then open the one you want.
Before you start
- This feature is part of your site by default.
Steps
- Open a story in the editor.
- Tap Open story check.
- Open an area to see what to fix. Tap Go to field to jump to it.
- Choose what is required for your site in the Publishing checklist.
Good to know
- The panel reminds you that scores are guidance only. Write for readers first.
- Each item shows Good, Could be better or Needs a fix.
- Suggest a fix with AI is available where AI is on.
- You cannot switch this feature off. Built-in features do not have a switch in Features.

Does a low score stop me publishing?
No. The score never blocks. Only required checklist items do.
What are the areas?
SEO, Answer engines (AEO), AI search (GEO/AIO) and Google News readiness.
Why does an area say Not included in your plan?
