Where: Settings → Site & brand → Business profile
Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/business-profile (replace <your-site> with your site address)
Before you start
- You need permission to manage pages. If you can't see the screen, ask the site owner.
- Have your phone number, address and opening hours ready.
Steps
- Open Settings and choose Business profile.
- Fill in Business name. If you leave it empty, your site name is used.
- Choose the Type of business, for example Shop, Clinic, Café, Lawyer or legal service, or Company or organisation.
- Add a One-line description.
- Under Contact, fill in Phone, WhatsApp number and Email. Write the WhatsApp number with the country code, for example 919876543210.
- Under Address, fill in Street and number, City or town, State or region, PIN / postal code and Country code (2 letters).
- Paste the share link of your place in Map link. Use the share link from your maps app. It must start with https://.
- Choose Add opening hours. Pick the Days, then Opens and Closes. You can add up to 14 rows. Use Note on hours for holidays or "by appointment".
- In Areas you serve, list your areas, separated by commas, for example Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad. You can add up to 20.
- Choose Save. The site shows the change within a minute.
Good to know
- Social links. They come from Settings, Social links. They are added to your business data on their own.
- Post end card. The "Call, WhatsApp or email" card uses the phone, WhatsApp and email from this profile. Fill them in first. See Post call-to-action.
- When it shows. The business details show once you have saved a name, phone, email or address.
- Search engines. The site builds the business data itself, so you never write code. Nothing guarantees a special search display.
- If two people save at the same time, the second save is stopped with a message to reload and try again.
Common problems
- My WhatsApp button doesn't work. Check that the number has the country code and looks like the example, 919876543210.
- The map link is refused. Use the share link from your maps app, starting with https://.
