Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/connections/payments (replace <your-site> with your site address)
Steps
- Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features. The page is called Features.
- Find Payment connections under For your site. If it is not there, open Other niches. Tap Switch on (or Show in my admin). When it shows On, it is ready.
- If it shows Needs and a plan name, your plan does not include it yet. See Choose a plan.
- Open Settings → Readers & money → Connections → Payments.
- Choose your gateway and paste its keys. Start in Test mode.
- Fill in Seller & GST: your legal name, address and tax number.
- Set Countries & taxes and Checkout & receipts.
- Make a test purchase, then add Live keys.
Good to know
- Keys are stored encrypted and never shown again.
- Seller details print on every receipt and invoice.
- Only the site owner can switch features on. Others see: "Only the owner can add features. Ask the owner to switch one on."
Common problems
Payments are not working. Why: The keys may be wrong, or the gateway is still in Test mode. Fix: See Why are payments not working?.
I cannot find Payment connections in my admin. Why: The feature is off or not yet installed. Fix: Open Settings → Site & brand → Add features and tap Switch on or Show in my admin. If a screen says "This feature is switched off. The owner can switch it on in Features.", ask the owner.

Which gateways can I use?
Razorpay, Stripe and PayPal. You can ask for another in Request a gateway.
How do I test?
Start in Test mode (Sandbox for PayPal), make a test purchase, then add Live keys.
What if an order is missing?
Every night we compare your orders with your gateway. Missed messages are fixed automatically. Anything that does not match is listed in Check payments match.
