Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/ai/providers (replace <your-site> with your site address)
Before you start
- A Together AI account.
- Billing or credit set up on that account.
- Only members who manage AI can connect an account, and you need to have signed in recently.
Steps
- Open the Together AI keys page and sign in.
- Choose Create API Key, give it a name and an optional expiry date. Leave the expiry empty if you want the AI to keep working.
- Copy the key now. Together shows a new key only once.
- Open the billing page and add credit or a payment method.
- In your site admin, open Settings → Content & publishing → Your AI accounts. Find the Together AI card.
- Paste the key and tap Test & connect. You see "Checking your key…" and then Connected ✓.
It starts with tgp_v1_, or it is 64 letters and digits (a–f and 0–9). Your admin checks the shape before it sends the key anywhere. Using AI providers
Good to know
- Together bills per request from your balance and shows clear prices per model. Keynate shows the same prices in the model list and adds nothing on top.
- The key goes only to the AI workspace on your own server. Keynate never sees it and never adds a fee.
- Keep the key private. Never put it in a support ticket or a chat.
- If you stop using Together AI, remove the account in Your AI accounts and delete the key on the Together AI website too.

On the Together AI website, not in Keynate. The billing page is linked from the Together AI card in Your AI accounts. Billing page
Can I use more than one provider?
Yes. Connect as many as you like, choose a default model, and set the order the site tries them in. Using AI providers
