How does the secure lock (HTTPS) work on my site?

Steps to check it

1. Open My sites and tap your site.
2. On the Site health card, tap See site health.
3. Open Secure lock. Each connected address shows its status, Expires (with days left), Auto-renew, Last checked and Issued by.

Good to know

• You need to do nothing to renew it.
• Before an address is connected the lock shows Connecting your address, Not checked yet or Not yet verified.
• Auto-renew reads On, or After your address is connected.
• If your Cloudflare orange cloud is on, Keynate cannot turn the lock on. Switch to the grey cloud (DNS only).
• If your address has a CAA setting, it must allow Let's Encrypt.

Common problems

• "The secure lock (HTTPS) stopped working." Your address's certificate expired or failed its check, so browsers may warn visitors. Keynate was alerted. Check your domain settings. My domain does not work
• "The secure lock of your address renewed late." It had under 14 days left and had not renewed. It renews automatically.
• No web address connected yet. Connect one first.
