How do I check that payments are ready?

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

• You need permission to see payment settings (owner or admin).
• The Payments feature must be on your site. If it is not, the card says Add-on.

Steps

1. Open Settings, then Set up your site.
2. Find Payments and read the message:
   • "Connect Razorpay, Stripe or PayPal. Money goes straight to you." Press Set up.
   • "Only test mode is on. Add your live keys to take real payments." Press Set up or Change.
   • "Your payment gateway isn't working. Check its keys." Press Fix it.
   • "Payments are on in live mode." Nothing to do.

Good to know

• Test mode never gives readers access. Real sales need live keys.
