How do I back up my site settings?

Where: Settings → Advanced → Backups & downloads (Back up your settings section)

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/data#back-up-your-settings (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

• Only the site owner can do this.

Steps

1. Open Settings → Advanced → Backups & downloads.
2. Under Back up your settings, press Back up settings now.
3. The page says "Settings backed up."
4. Find the file under Recent exports, type Settings backup.
5. Press Download to keep a copy.

Good to know

• Template, licence, team, payment settings and secrets are not in a restore.
• Backups are deleted after 24 hours unless they are safety backups.
