Comments and likes
Comment rules are in Readers & money → Comments → Comment settings.

| COMMENTS_CLOSED | "Comments are closed on this story." | Comments are off on this story. You can open them in the story or in comment settings. |
| COMMENT_BANNED | "You can’t post comments on this site right now." | The reader is banned or muted. See Readers & money → Comments → Banned readers. |
| COMMENT_MINOR_NOT_ALLOWED | "Comments can be posted by adults only." | Younger readers cannot comment. This follows your younger-reader settings. |
| COMMENT_BLOCKED_WORDS | "Your comment has words this site doesn’t allow. Change them and try again." | The comment has a word on your blocked list. See Readers & money → Comments → Blocked words. |
| COMMENT_TOO_MANY_LINKS | "Comments may have at most N links." | The reader should remove some links. |
| COMMENT_DUPLICATE | "You already posted this comment." | The same comment was already posted. |
| COMMENT_EDIT_WINDOW_CLOSED | "Comments can be changed only in the first N minutes." | Readers can change a comment only for a short time after posting. |
| COMMENT_NOT_EDITABLE | "This comment can’t be changed any more." | The comment was checked, hidden or removed, so it can’t change. |
| COMMENT_REPLY_NOT_ALLOWED | "You can only reply to a comment that is shown on this story." | The comment being answered is hidden or removed. |
| COMMENT_ACTION_NOT_ALLOWED | "This action isn’t possible for this comment." | This action does not fit the comment's state. Reload the page. |
| REACTIONS_OFF | "Likes are switched off on this site." | Likes are switched off in your comment settings. |
Saved stories, lists and follows
You set the limits in Settings → Readers & money → Reader library, under Saving and history.

| SAVED_LIMIT | "You have saved the most stories you can (N). Remove some first." | The reader removes some saved stories, or you raise the limit. |
| LIST_LIMIT | "You have the most reading lists you can (N). Delete one first." | The reader deletes a reading list, or you raise the limit. |
| FOLLOW_LIMIT | "You follow the most topics you can (N). Unfollow some first." | The reader unfollows some topics, or you raise the limit. |
Newsletters

Memberships bought in the app

| STORE_BILLING_OFF | "Buying in the app isn't switched on for this site yet." | Buying in the app is not switched on for your site. Readers can buy on your website. |
| STORE_PURCHASE_INVALID | "This purchase couldn't be confirmed. Try Restore purchases, or contact the site." | The reader taps Restore purchases. If it still fails, check the purchase in Google Play or the App Store. |
| STORE_PRODUCT_UNKNOWN | "This membership plan isn't offered by this site." | This plan is not offered any more. Check your plans in Readers & money → Plans. |
| STORE_PURCHASE_OTHER_ACCOUNT | "This membership belongs to another account on this site. Sign in with that account." | The reader signs in with the account that bought it. |
| MEMBERSHIP_MANAGED_BY_STORE | "This membership was bought in the App Store. Manage or cancel it there." | The reader manages or cancels it in Google Play or the App Store, not on your site. |
| ALREADY_MEMBER | "You're already a member (bought in the app). Manage it in Google Play or the App Store." | Nothing to buy. The reader manages it in the store. |

Can I see why a reader's comment was blocked?
Yes. Open Readers & money → Comments. Blocked and held comments show there.
My message is not on this page. What do I do?
Copy the exact words and ask Nia in the help chat, or open Settings → Advanced → Problems. Other error pages are linked below.
