How do I connect Stripe?

In this story

Where: Settings → Readers & money → Connections → Payments

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/settings/connections/payments (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

  • A Stripe account. You must be the site owner.

Steps

  1. In Keynate, open Settings → Readers & money → Connections → Payments and press Add connection.
  2. Choose the Gateway Stripe and the Mode: Test mode or Live mode.
  3. In Stripe, go to Developers, API keys. Copy the Publishable key and the Secret key.
  4. Paste them into Keynate.
  5. Press the button at the bottom of the sheet (it reads Connect Razorpay for every gateway) and copy the Webhook URL from the card.
  6. In Stripe, go to Developers, Webhooks. Add an endpoint with this URL and select the listed events.
  7. Copy Stripe's signing secret and paste it in Webhook signing secret in Keynate.
  8. Press Test connection.

More help: Payment messages (webhook).

Good to know
