Good to know
- Classes: New features, Recommended, Important, Critical.
- Critical updates cannot be skipped. If you don't pick a time, they install in your maintenance window.
- If your newsroom is busy (a live blog is running or a story was just published), the update waits a few minutes.
- If you changed parts that the update also changes, the card says Needs your review. For each part choose Keep my version, Use Keynate's version or Re-apply my change with AI. Nothing is lost.
- Some updates are marked "Keynate has paused this update for now. Nothing to do on your side."
Common problems
- "The last attempt didn't finish, so your site was left exactly as it was. Nothing was lost. You can try again."
- "Choose what happens to your changes first." Answer the review choices before updating.
