How do I create my account while I buy?

In this story

Before you start

You need an email you can open. To pay, your email must be verified and you must accept the Terms.

Steps

  1. Under Sign in to pay, choose Create account. Already have one? Choose I already have an account.
  2. To use Google, tap the Google button. Or fill the form: Full name, Email, Password, Country.
  3. Tick I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. The product updates box is optional.
  4. Tap Create account.
  5. Open your email. Enter the 6-digit code under Verification code, then tap Verify and continue. The code expires in 30 minutes.
  6. If you have two-step verification, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app after you log in.
  7. Continue to the review screen.

Good to know

  • Your password needs at least 10 characters and at most 128. There are no other rules. A password found in a known data breach is refused.
  • The country sets your price currency and taxes.
  • Your launch choices are saved. You won't need to pick them again.
  • If the Resend code button is grey, wait for the timer.
  • Already signed in and verified? This box does not show.

Common problems

  • "Verify your email to pay." Enter the code from the email.
  • "Please accept the Terms to continue." Tick the box, or tap Agree and continue if the page asks.
  • "Sign-ups are closed. If you already have an account, log in instead." Use I already have an account.
  • "That email address is already used by another Keynate account." Log in instead.
  • "That code isn’t right or has expired." Use Resend code. Older codes stop working.
