How do I create a Keynate account?

In this story

Steps

  1. Tap Sign up at the top of keynate.com.
  2. To use Google, tap the Google button. Or fill in Full name, Work email, Password and Country.
  3. Tick I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. The box to get product updates by email is optional.
  4. Tap Create account.
  5. Open your email. Enter the 6-digit code under Verification code, or open the link in the email. The code expires in 30 minutes.
  6. Tap Verify email. You land on your account with the message Your email is verified — welcome to Keynate!

Good to know

  • A password needs 10 to 128 characters. Any characters are fine. A password that appeared in a known data breach is refused. The strength bar is advice only.
  • Your country sets the currency of your prices. In India, prices include GST.
  • You can browse and save a draft without verifying. To pay, your email must be verified.
  • Wrong address? Tap Change email on the verify screen.
  • If sign-ups are closed, the form says so. Log in with your existing account.

Common problems

  • "That email address is already used by another Keynate account." Log in instead.
  • "This password has appeared in a known data breach. Please choose a different one."
  • "Use at least 10 characters."
  • "That code isn’t right or has expired." The message shows how many tries are left. Tap Resend code, wait for the timer, and use the newest code.
  • "This link didn’t work." You can still enter the code from the email.
  • "Too many attempts." Wait for the time shown.
  • I did not get the email. Check spam. Tap Resend code. Older codes stop working.
