Before you start
- Use the email address the invitation was sent to.
- You need a verified email on your Keynate account.
Steps
- Open the email and tap the link. It opens a page that shows who invited you, your role and the sites.
- If you are signed out, tap Sign in, or Create account. The email is filled in for you.
- Verify your email if Keynate asks.
- Tap to accept. You can also decline.
- Open My sites. The shared sites appear under Shared with you.
Good to know
- Creating an account from an invitation needs no purchase.
- Your role decides what you can do. If something is blocked, the page says to ask the owner to change your role.
- To open the site admin you need two-step sign-in on your own account. Two-step verification
- You can leave a team later from your account.
Common problems
"This invitation was withdrawn by the owner." Why: The owner cancelled it. Fix: Ask the owner to send a new one.
"A newer invitation was sent. Please use the link in the latest email." Why: The owner sent the invitation again. Fix: Use the link in the latest email.
"This invitation has already been used." Why: It was accepted before. Fix: Sign in and open My sites.
The invitation expired. Why: The link works for 7 days. Fix: Ask the owner for a new invitation.
You are signed in with a different email. Why: The invitation is for another address. Fix: Sign out, then sign in with the invited email.
