Good to know
- Accepted types. The screen says "JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or GIF, up to {maxMb} MB". TIFF and BMP become PNG. iPhone HEIC photos become JPEG when your server can read them. SVG graphics are cleaned of scripts before they are stored. See Supported image formats.
- Large photos from your phone are resized on your device before upload to save data.
- Resumed uploads. If your connection drops, the screen says "Connection is back. Upload continues."
- Limits. What you can upload is set by your plan and your server. See File size limits.
- Images from a web address. An address must be a public https:// address of an image. Otherwise you see "This address can’t be used. Use a public https:// address of an image."
- Free image libraries. If you see "{source} needs your site’s API key first (Media settings)", add the key in Media settings.
