Open this page: admin.<your-site>/niche/help/insights (replace <your-site> with your site address). In the menu it sits under More.
Steps
- Open Stories and choose Help insights.
- Choose the Period.
- Read Searches with no results. The page says: "Write an article for these, or dismiss the ones you won't cover."
- Next to a search, choose Write article. The search is copied. Paste it as the headline. The message is: "Search copied. Paste it as the headline."
- If you will not cover a search, choose Dismiss. Dismissed searches are hidden. Choose Show again to bring them back.
- Read Top searches to see what readers want most.
Add synonyms
Readers don't always use your words. Add synonyms so "login" also finds "sign in".
- Open Growth and choose the search screen What readers search for.
- Open Synonyms.
- Add the words that mean the same thing.

Good to know
- More than searches. The same screen shows Contact panel clicks and Where troubleshooters ended.
- No personal data. Everything is counted per day. The page says so.
- When every search found something, you see: "Every search found something."
- Suggestions appear as readers type. They use your synonyms.

Why is my list of top searches empty?
Nobody has searched yet in this period, or the site is new. The page says "Nothing yet."
Does Write article publish anything?
No. It opens the editor with the headline filled in. You write and publish the article.
