Quick actions. New story and Upload photos.

Three starting points

  • Software or SaaS product turns on every part, including release notes, known issues and the status widget.
  • Consumer device or appliance adds video articles and leaves out release notes and the status widget.
  • Services company keeps FAQ blocks, search, hubs, feedback, search insights, known issues and contact options.

Steps: first hour

  1. Open Settings, then Set up your site.
  2. Create your sections with the starting point above.
  3. Choose your languages.
  4. Pick features. Lead forms, reader accounts and AI helpers are offered.
  5. Make a hub for each product. See Help hubs.
  6. Fill in each hub's Still need help? panel.
  7. Write your first articles. Start from How-to article.
  8. Add troubleshooters, release notes and known issues as you need them.
  9. Set up the status widget.
  10. Publish trust and legal pages.

Good to know

  • Match the product exactly. The AI helpers on this site are set never to invent menu names, settings or prices. They mark outdated articles for review. They write drafts only.
  • Use the insights. Check Help insights every week. Write an article for each search that found nothing.
  • Pages without a home-page rail. Help centre templates do not show polls, quizzes, short videos or web stories on the home page.
