Before you start
- You are the site owner.
- See the size choices and their prices on keynate.com when you add it.
Steps
- Open My sites, choose your site and press See backups.
- Find the box Photos & videos. It says "Photos and videos are not included in these backups."
- Press Add photo & video backup.
- Choose a size and finish the payment on keynate.com.
- Come back to Backups. The first copy takes a few nights. The box shows First copy in progress and the percent done.
- Later the box shows Last saved and how much space is used.
Good to know
- To bring photos and videos back, tick the box when you restore. See Restore your site.
- You can download a photos and videos backup as a ZIP. See Download a backup.
- If the space is full, new photos and videos are not saved in the backup. Nothing is deleted. Press Get more space.
- If you stop the add-on, it ends at the end of the paid month. Saved copies are kept for 30 days.
Common problems
- "The space is full." Press Get more space.
- Photos did not come back after a restore. Try again from the list.

Are my photos safe without this add-on?
They stay on your own server. They are just not in the nightly backup.
Why do I need this add-on?
The nightly backup holds your stories, pages and settings. Photos and videos are saved only with this add-on.
What happens if the space is full?
