What changes

- Search engines re-index your site in the new language. Visits from search can dip for a few weeks. Changing back and forth often can confuse them.
- Existing articles stay in their language. You can translate them with AI in your admin. They are drafts you review before you publish.
- Your web address, articles, photos and settings stay the same.
- If you have an app, it needs a new build for the new store language. The apps page shows how.
Good to know
- You can change the language 3 times in 24 hours. The page shows how many are left, and when you can change it again.
- The page also shows a history of changes.
- If your family already has a site in that language, you can still switch this site to it as a regional or network site. Language sites
- Want the new language in addition to the old? Buy a second site instead.
