In this story

Where: Newsroom → Tips

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/newsroom/tips (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

  • This is part of the polls and forms feature. Included in some plans: see your plan on keynate.com.
  • Owners, admins and editors work the inbox.

Steps

  1. Open Newsroom → Tips.
  2. Filter by status (New, Assigned, Replied, Pitched, Closed, Spam) and Kind (Tip or Story offer). Tick Only tips assigned to me if you wish.
  3. Open a tip. Read the message, Links they sent and Files.
  4. Under What to do choose Take it, Assign, Turn into a pitch, Close or Mark as spam.
  5. To answer, use Reply by email and tap Send reply.

Good to know

  • Links are shown as text on purpose: do not open links from people you do not know without checking.
  • Files come from the public. Scan them with your security software before opening.
  • You can only reply if the sender left an email and allowed contact. Their address is not shown to anyone else.
