How do I use a coupon or referral code?

Steps

1. On the pay screen, tap Have a coupon or referral code?
2. Type the Coupon or referral code. Use letters, numbers and dashes, for example WELCOME20. Capital letters are added for you.
3. Tap Apply.
4. Check the new total. It shows what you saved.
5. Pay as usual.

To take a code off, tap Remove.

Good to know

• Opened a link that carries a code? The box shows Added from the link you opened and the code is already filled in.
• Each code has its own rules. It may work only on some items, in some countries, for a first order only, with a minimum order, or for a limited time.
• You can use one code per order, either a coupon or an invite code.
• If a sale is also running, you get the one that saves you more. If both can be combined, both apply. The screen tells you which was used.
• Some items have a lowest price. If a code would go below it, the line says Limited by the lowest price we can offer.
• A discount can also apply to the next renewals. The price table says so, for example "Also on your next 3 renewals".
• If the order is cancelled before you pay, the code is released and you can use it again.

Common problems

• "This code isn’t valid." Check the spelling, or remove it and pay without a code.
• "This code has expired." Remove it to pay the normal price, or try another code.
• "This offer hasn’t started yet." Try again when the offer begins.
• "This code has been used as many times as allowed." Try another code.
• "You’ve already used this code." Each person can use it a limited number of times.
• "This code is only for a first order." Remove it to continue.
• "This code needs … or more of eligible items in the order." Add more, or remove the code.
• "This code isn’t available for your billing country." Remove it.
• "This code can’t be used on this kind of purchase (for example a renewal or an add-on)." Remove it.
• "This code doesn’t apply to the items in this order." Remove it, or change what you buy.
• "This invite code can’t be used on this account." Invite discounts are for a new customer's first order.
• "Too many code tries." Wait a few minutes. After many tries the code box locks for 24 hours. You can still pay without a code.
