Before you start
- You need to be signed in to your Keynate account on keynate.com. Use the same email as the owner of the site.
Steps
- Sign in to keynate.com and open your site.
- Choose Can’t sign in to your dashboard?.
- Open the recovery link. The admin page says "You opened a recovery link from your Keynate account."
- Type a new password twice and tap Save new password.
- Sign in with the new password.
Good to know
- You are signed out everywhere after the change.
- The recovery link works once.
- Two-step sign-in stays on, if you had it.
Common problems
- If you changed your site admin email in My account, the Keynate account email can match your earlier admin email too.
- "No owner account of this site uses that email. Check the email on your Keynate account and try again." Your Keynate account email differs from the site owner email. Use the Keynate account that owns the site.
- "This recovery link was already used. Open a new one from your Keynate account if you still can’t sign in." The link works once. Open a new link from keynate.com.
- "This recovery link is not valid any more. Open a new one from your Keynate account." The link is old or incomplete. Open a new one.
