Before you start
- Open your admin from your site page on keynate.com, or from a bookmark.
- Have your email and password ready. If two-step sign-in is on for your account, keep your phone with you.
Steps
- Open your admin sign-in page. The page says Sign in and "Sign in to manage" followed by your site address.
- Type your Email.
- Type your Password. Tap the eye button to show or hide it.
- Tap Sign in.
- If two-step sign-in is on, the page changes to Two-step sign-in. Open your authenticator app, type the 6-digit code for your site and tap Sign in.
- No phone? Tap Use a recovery code instead, type one of your Recovery code values and tap Sign in. Each recovery code works once.
Good to know
- If your owner turned on company login, you also see a Sign in with button above the email form. See Signing in with your company login.
- Owners can always use their email and password, even when company login is required.
- You stay signed in on a device for up to a year after you last used it. You can end other sessions in My account.
- After several wrong passwords in a short time, you must wait a little before the next try. The wait grows to at most a minute.
Common problems
- "The email or password is wrong." You typed a wrong email or password. Check both. If you forgot the password, tap Forgot your password?.
- "Too many sign-in attempts. Try again in a minute." Too many tries in a short time. Wait a minute, then try once more.
- "Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app." Your account has two-step sign-in on. Type the current code from your app. It changes every 30 seconds.
- "Your session has ended. Please sign in again." You were signed out, for example after a password change. Sign in again.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I sign in with a one-time code sent by email?
No. The sign-in page accepts a password, plus an authenticator or recovery code when two-step sign-in is on, or your company login.
I lost my phone. Can I still sign in?
Yes, if you saved your recovery codes. Tap Use a recovery code instead. If you have none, ask your site owner for help.
Does the admin sign me out on its own?
Only after about a year of not using that device, or when you choose to sign out other devices or change your password.
