How do I see who pays me, and cancel or refund a subscription?

Where: Readers & money → Subscribers

Open this page: admin.<your-site>/money/subscribers (replace <your-site> with your site address)

Before you start

Only the site owner can cancel or refund. A recent sign-in is asked for.

Steps

1. Open Readers & money, then Subscribers.
2. Filter by Status or Plan.
3. Tap a name to open Subscriber.
4. Read the plan, price, next payment, access until, payments and history.
5. Under What you can do, choose Stop renewal, Cancel now or Refund last payment.
6. Confirm.

Good to know

• Stop renewal: they are not charged again, and keep reading until the date shown.
• Cancel now: their subscription ends at once, and access to premium stories ends now. Nothing is refunded automatically. Use Refund last payment if you want to.
• Refunds are pending at the gateway for a few minutes. The credit note follows when it is done.
• A subscription that has ended says "Nothing to do: this subscription has ended."
• Subscribers show Test mode when they paid with test money.
• The list has a link to the Subscription report.

Common problems

• "Only the site owner can cancel or refund."
• "No subscribers yet. They appear here after the first checkout."
